Tom Dailey also has over two decades experience in the cards/payments industry with extensive background involving all aspects of credit and payments card processing including process and procedure reviews, competitive landscape, pricing, contract negotiation, vendor selection and negotiation, pricing optimization, technical implementation, settlement, chargebacks, card issuing, product design and operations.  I have directly managed large operations, call centers, sales, marketing, finance, information technology, strategic development and administrative functions in a 2,000 employee, multi-billion dollar P&L environment.

Expert Witness

 I am available to serve as an expert resource to attorneys in legal matters involving the card and payments industry.  I can provide expertise on card issuing, issuer/card network relations, transaction processing, merchants, Visa/MC/Amex/Discover/Diners and ATM networks, point-of-sale devices and technologies, and other related topics.  My experience in this area includes consulting, document review/prep, deposition and testimony.  I have testified in cases involving retailers ranging from "mom and pop" to the country's largest, and all four major card networks (Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express).  I have worked with law firms, plaintiffs, opposing counsel and the Department of Justice on cases up to and including U.S. Supreme Court appeals.  My strong credentials in this area helps provide protection from opposing counsel challenging expert qualifications.  Expert Witness fee schedule available upon request.  Limited pro bono work considered for qualified non-profit organizations.
